Homeschooling

Consistent with the Home Education Regulation, PRSD is proud to support parents in home educating their children with the ongoing support of dedicated Home Education Facilitators who are Alberta certificated teachers.  Your Facilitator meets with you to support you in the development of a home education program that meets your child’s needs and provides ongoing support as often as you wish.  Well-versed in and supportive of parent-led and child-led approaches, the Home Education Facilitators also organize a homeschool support network and organize activities and field trips designed to keep you connected throughout the year.
